Dr Cheryl Lim is an experienced General Practitioner with a rich background in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She earned her medical degree from the University of Adelaide and honed her skills at the Lyell McEwin Hospital for four years post-graduation.
During her tenure, Dr Lim focused on caring for pregnant women with complex medical conditions, performing operative deliveries including Caesarean sections, and managing various gynaecological conditions. Her extensive training also includes an extended term in Paediatrics and rotations in General Medicine, Accident and Emergency, and Infectious Disease. Dr Lim holds a certificate in children's health from the Sydney Children's Health Program and both a Diploma and Advanced Diploma from the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (RANZCOD).
Currently, Dr Lim specialises in women's health and antenatal/postpartum care, including the insertion and removal of intrauterine devices and contraceptive implants. She is accredited with the GP Obstetric Shared Care program, allowing her to support pregnant patients throughout their pregnancies and beyond. Dr Lim is also pursuing further studies in postpartum care and breastfeeding support through the Neuroprotective Developmental Care (NDC) Institute, also known as the Possums program, and will soon offer consultation for breastfeeding and infant sleep support.
Passionate about improving women's health , Dr Lim is dedicated to providing holistic and judgment-free patient-centered care. Dr Lim is a mother to a beautiful little girl who occupies most of her free time. She grew up in Singapore and loves good food, Pilates, hiking and crocheting.
